first_imgAn account has been set up to help a family displaced Tuesday by a fire at its east Clark County home.Donations to the family of Eric and Jeanette Rafferty can be made to the Pacific Crest Academy Rafferty Family Fund at any Riverview Community Bank location, said Manda Levie, who works at the Camas school the family’s children attend. She said the Raffertys have been staying with family but plan to move into a hotel. “Jeanette was inside at the time” of the fire, Levie said. “She was able to get the kids out. They’re all safe. Eric was at work.”A hot-burning floor-lamp bulb that made contact with a curtain is believed to have started the fire that caused $475,000 damage.Levie, of the private Pacific Crest Academy, said the account was set up in response to a large number of inquiries from community members wanting to lend a hand.“They have nothing right now,” she said of the Raffertys. For more information, contact Levie at 360-834-9913 or by e-mail at read more

first_img Advertisement When you’re an opposing fan going into the lion’s den of Yankee Stadium, you should probably bring a poncho.Last night, an A’s fan, sitting among die-hard Yankee fans in the outfield stands was given a beer shower he didn’t ask for by one moron who was celebrating during the convincing New York win. The Yankee fan followed up the soaking by throwing a cup at the guy’s head to cement himself as a total chump.Don’t be this guy. What a jerk. Not to mention he just wasted $20 worth of beer which further confirms he’s a moron.#PinstripePride ‼️‼️— ⭕️ (@OlvinnO) October 4, 2018last_img read more
