first_imgIndia cricket team has been synonymous with its blue jersey over the years. The senior national team, the most-followed in the country, are famously dubbed as the Men in Blue. However, that is about to change as India are gearing up to sport Orange jerseys for their World Cup 2019 match against England on June 30. Every team at the 10-team World Cup apart from hosts England have been asked to come up with two jerseys, including a reserve jersey for away matches.India Today had confirmed earlier this week that India will be wearing a new Orange-dominated jersey for the game vs England. England, who also wear a blue-dominated jersey, have the right to retain their first-choice kits since they have been labelled as the home team for their big-ticket clash in Birmingham.”For televised ICC events all participating teams will be required to provide for two different coloured kits, except for the host country who has a preference in the choice of colour and may, if it chooses to do so, provide only one coloured kit to be worn in all matches throughout the event,” the International Cricket Council had said in a release. As it turns out, images of an Orange-dominated jersey is going viral on social media with several users claiming it to be India’s official reserve kit. Patches of Orange can be seen along the shoulders and collar with a dark-blue splattering dominating the shirt.Popular fan of Team India and Sachin Tendulkar, Sudhir Kumar posted a photo of the rumoured Indian away kit on his Instagram page, adding to speculations.advertisementHowever, India Today has not been able to verify the authenticity of the claims. Neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nor the official kit manufacturers of Team India have confirmed the official design of India’s away kit for World Cup 2019.Is this India’s new away Jersey? @BCCI @ICC pic.twitter.com/KwNIfPhNT4Tejas Bhatia (@tejasbhatiaa) June 21, 2019India’s new orange jersey against Afghanistan.Isn’t it looking like IPL’s Gujarat Lions team’s jersey ?? #Worldcup #ICCWC2019 #ICCCricketWorldCup2019 pic.twitter.com/BOrYWx5WVZRj Harshil (@RjHarshil) June 20, 2019This match is going to be interesting.New jersey and highest score India.I guess it could cross 400 if toss wins??#INDvAFG pic.twitter.com/OCrN7eJfQXimmortal soul (@Nagesh70731601) June 22, 2019Notably, Sri Lanka had used their reserve kits, which is dominated by a splattering of yellow, during their upset win over hosts England on Friday at Headingley in Leeds. first_imgzoom The ratings of the German shipping bank Norddeutsche Landesbank GZ (NORD/LB) and its subsidiary Deutsche Hypothekenbank (Actien-Gesellschaft) (Deutsche Hypo), including the banks’ long-term deposit ratings, have been downgraded to A3 from A2, according to Moody’s rating agency.Furthermore, their long-term debt ratings and NORD/LB’s issuer rating were downgraded to Baa1 from A3, as well as both of their short-term debt and deposit ratings to Prime-2 from Prime-1.This follows Moody’s downgrade of NORD/LB’s Baseline Credit Assessment (BCA) to ba3 from ba2 and of its Adjusted BCA to ba1 from baa3.Moody’s said that the rating outlooks on NORD/LB’s issuer rating and on both entities’ debt and deposit ratings are negative. These rating actions conclude the rating review for NORD/LB and its affiliates opened on June 1, 2016, which were prompted by NORD/LB and BremerLB reporting losses in the first half of 2016 amid an extended difficult trading environment for the global shipping industry, as well as by NORD/LB’s announcement that it will acquire full ownership of BremerLB within the next months.“NORD/LB’s solvency will remain vulnerable to an extension of the current period of depressed freight rates for shipping firms globally even as it has started a process of de-risking and of bolstering problem loan provisioning levels,” Bernhard Held, a Moody’s Vice President, said.last_img read more

first_imgLondon: Liverpool’s sizzling start to the Premier League season has left their title rivals breathless and the red-hot leaders are expected to maintain their perfect record against Newcastle on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp’s side have seized the early initiative in the Premier League with four successive wins to open up a two-point lead over second placed Manchester City. The European champions’ relentless tempo has overwhelmed Norwich, Southampton, Arsenal and Burnley, sending a message that they are determined to make amends for narrowly failing to pip City to the trophy last season. Arsenal’s Dani Ceballos is new to English football after joining on loan from Real Madrid and the Spain midfielder admitted to being gob-smacked at the intensity Liverpool displayed in their 3-1 victory against the Gunners in August. That game had quite an impact on me,” Ceballos told the Daily Mail. “They suck the air out of you. You spend so much time defending and when you want to catch your breath and get on the ball for a bit, they’ve taken it from you again. “I think Jurgen Klopp now has the team he first had in mind when he started four years ago.” That glowing testimony underlines the size of the task facing City as they try to stop Liverpool winning their first English crown since 1990. City may have won the last two Premier League titles in scintillating fashion, but Liverpool look better than ever this term and Newcastle are unlikely to halt their progress at Anfield this weekend.last_img read more
