first_img Gary McAllister Gary McAllister and Sean O’Driscoll have left Liverpool’s coaching staff as the club prepare for the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.The duo only arrived at Anfield in the summer, replacing Mike Marsh and Colin Pascoe on Brendan Rodgers’ backroom team.They have overseen first-team training duties since Rodgers was sacked following Sunday’s Merseyside derby draw.But McAllister and O’Driscoll have both now been informed by the club that they will not part of the set-up under new manager Klopp.The former Borussia Dortmund boss, who is set to be unveiled at Anfield on Friday, wants to bring in his own coaching team.Zeljko Buvac, his assistant at Dortmund, has agreed to join up with the German once again, while analyst Peter Krawietz is also expected to take up a role with the Reds.Klopp, however, is set to retain Pepijn Lijnders, who has been working as Liverpool’s first team development coach since the summer after being promoted from the academy. 1last_img read more
